One hot summer day a few weeks ago, my sister asked me to help her with this birthday project for her boyfriend. I had to wait to post pictures here until she unveiled the gift. So here they are, the before and after pictures.
I did not build this structure (FYI its a game called cornhole-all the rage here in Jersey and probably everywhere else) I painted the wooden game to look like baseball jersey's. The exact jersey's he had worn in high school and college.
My sister and I matched the colors exactly to his Jersey's and after a primer coat, we started painting with color! After that dried, I was in charge of drawing the team's name and his numbers and painting them. it was a fun project though and her boyfriend really dug them so that was cool.
